What is the OnRoad Card?

The Comdata OnRoad Card is a universally accepted MasterCard with access to both the Comdata Proprietary and MasterCard Signature Debit networks. With OnRoad, drivers can receive funds disbursements (payroll, settlements, reimbursements) and company funds all on one card. Drivers can use their funds for any personal needs, all with zero transaction fees. Furthermore, the Proprietary side of the card works like a traditional fuel card, meaning you have access to real-time reporting and fleet controls on the card’s usage. Your negotiated fuel discounts and discount fuel administration are also included. Use OnRoad as your single-source solution for managing fleet spending and driver funding.

OnRoad allows you to consolidate driver and fleet funds onto one card. For example, say you currently issue your drivers a regular fuel card for company expenses such as fuel and maintenance, and a separate card for disbursements such as payroll and settlements. To set up your OnRoad account, call a Comdata representative today. During setup, note that you are required to provide information on each driver who will receive a card so that we can comply with identity verification requests. Once the cards are delivered, you can begin loading money via iConnectData, Comdata’s online account management system.

When your drivers have their cards in hand, they can immediately access funds at any time. Note that on the company side of the card, you can limit purchases to specific products, just as you can today with traditional fuel cards. In addition, drivers can always check their balance for free on cardholder web (www.cardholder.comdata.com) or the OnRoad mobile app.
